Auto / Atv winch question?I just bought a little winch from a local store it is a new 3000 lb working weight winch with a wireless remote and roller fairlead that i got for $40 bucks cant beat it. My question is what happens if i overload it ? I know my full size truck exceeds the weight but when i do get stuck im not really stuck i just spin on Ga glassy mud. So will it just Fairlead ATV Winch bog down or am i in danger of snapping the cable or damaging the winch? The box said for trucks suv’s and atv’s. I will also be using it on a atv but do not fear exceeding the weight limits. So what happens if it is to much weight for it to pull and what happens thanks .Also will doubling up the cable add to the winches pulling capacity ? or do nothingthanks i understand about cable whip and i run heavy equipment and have seen how the can break i just didnt know if the winch will bog down or you referred to it as seize as in damage the winch or just stop. The cable is rated to 4000lb pounds so i should not snap it unless the winch has a surge in power. i just dont want to break it if i overload it. if it stops that is ok if it cant pull the load just as long as it doesnt break the winch. thanks
