this is the second cover i have purchased. firs for a smaller motorcycle and now
for the trike and both were excellent in quality and durable. thanks for the
excellent product. price was fair

Besides the costly trike kits sold . Is there a safe and sound way to turn a Honda rebel into a trike.?
I have been looking into using an ATV rear end and then trying to either find or make hubs to be able to run normal car rims instead of the ATV rims. Could this be done with much ease?

What exactly are the developments with little kid’s bikes?

Little kids bike used to be trikes. Not anymore. There is a new style of bikes called and famed as the balance bike or no stabilisers bike. These are bikes that have no chains or pedals. It is simply the two front wheels, with handlebars and a footrest (this depends on the manufacturer you purchase it from). The premise behind a balance bike is extremely simple. Because your child does not need to worry about pedals or trying to keep themselves balanced while still moving forward and pedaling furiously, it becomes easier for them to learn how to ride a bike.

They use their feet to push themselves forward and maintain their own balance. These bikes, that are also known as running Trike ATV bikes, have become more renowned amongst parents and educational departments because of the fantastic benefits parents have started seeing when using them. Parents have seen an improvement in motor skills, coordination, balance and even confidence. These bikes are simply ingenious when it comes to teaching your child how to balance themselves. It is well known that children that use these types of training bikes are readier at a younger age to start riding kids bicycles.

Where to find balance bikes and what to look for when purchasing one

If you’re from the UK, simply do a search for “balance bikes” and you’ll be able to find manufacturers and distributors of them. However, if this is your first balance bike make sure to keep our checklist in mind.

Adjustable seats and handlebars: Your balance bike should have adjustable seats and handlebars. This is to ensure that you can use your bike for your child for at least three to four years.

Wooden balance bikes: While these types of bikes are popular, it is not recommended to buy a wooden bike. The reason for this is simple: the steel version is much more durable and last longer.

Footrests: Make sure you buy a bike with footrests. If there are no footrests it can be an uncomfortable experience for your child.

Little kids bikes have been revolutionised, make sure that your child is not missing out on all the fun and development of their motor skills that these bikes can provide.
