I ordered a starter from DB Electrical for my lawnmower. The first starter failed within 3 months. I contacted them and they sent another one out with instructions that if the second one failed to return both for a refund. The second one failed and so I returned both. They wrote back and said that since it had been a year since the first starter was purchased it was out of warranty, even though the second starter was only in service for 2-3 months. So now I am out the purchase price and the return shipping. Don’t deal with these people their service and products are terrible!!

What is the exact reason ATV’s cannot be registered for street use in the state of New Jersey?
Everytime I ask this question I get “because they cannot be insured” or “because they cannot be licensed” or something similar. I am currently living in Arizona and I know they can be made street legal here with minimal modifications (Mirror, license plate bracket, horn) and my ATV is in New Jersey. After checking out the minimal motorcycle requirements, ATV’s can be minimally modified to meet these exact same requirements. Now, if it cannot be registered, it New ATVs obviously cannot be insured for street use or licensed, simply because it cannot be registered for street use. The answer I am looking for, is what is the exact thing that prevents an ATV from being legalized for street use if it is basically a motorcycle with 4 wheels.Everytime I ask this question I get “because they cannot be insured” or “because they cannot be licensed” or something similar. I just installed this starter over the weekend, and so far I am very impressed. It is a perfect fit and from what I can tell an exact replacement of the original. Shipment was fast and hassle-free, and the best part: it cost less than 1/6th of what the dealer wanted! I have no problem recommending DB Electrical to others.

The starter for my out of date three wheeler works very well. It was simple to change and it went together very easy.
