My dad owns a 08 can-am outlander 800 and it will wheelie, I want to get a 08 outlander 650 xt will it wheelie?
Will the 650 wheelie at all, if so will it wheelie as easy as the outlander 800?His atv is plush and the handles well but feels a bit tippy at times unless of course you gun it and throw out the side. The only reason that I will not get the outlander 500xt is because it has mcpherson struts instead of double a-arms. I know it makes a major difference because right now I own a 02 Polaris Magnum 325. I have modded it with a k&n filter and precharger, warn 2500lb xt winch and have 25 inch mudlite wheels(1 inch larger than stock) and it has nothing next to power and handling compared to my dads. I often bottom out the wheels and can hear it rub against the plastic if I do it Outlander Renegade ATV Hard enough. I know the double a-arms make a big difference in compression and in handling all together. By the way my current atv has mcpherson struts with about 5 inches of travel(I know it sucks, but good until I have the money for a newer atv). Well I think the 650’s handling should be right on spot with the 800 but what about the wheelying? But of course tell me if I’m wrong. My dad is paying for college and I am 17 now so don’t tell me to complete school because I am one of the lucky few with that kind of privelege.By the way my friend has a 08 Renegade 500 with an HMF Utility Series Pipe and a HMF Power Tuner. Will I be able to smoke him with this stock.I want to know if when I eventually upgrade to Mudlite XTR’s to keep the 26″ or go with 27″. Thanks a lot for your helpMy father by the way wants me to get a utility atv preferably a Can-am or Polaris. That is his preference not mine, he says utility atvs are more solidly built and safer though, but mucho heavier. I admire geared ATVs a lot, but with honda being the only one to sell geared utility atvs, I have no choice. I know that they are more unstable than most atvs though, plus I have riddent one to back it up. I AM SPEAKING TO CAN-AM OWNERS ONLY, I LOVE MOST ATV BRANDS BUT I DON’T HAVE A CHOICE, SO PLEASE DON’T TELL ME TO GET ANOTHER BRAND OTHER THAN THE ONES EARLIER MENTIONED. BY THE WAY THE 650 ISN’T $10,000, IT RETAILS FOR $8,099 SO DON’T TELL ME THAT IT IS, THE 800 IS ABOUT THAT MUCH, THAT IS WHY I AM INTERESTED IN THE 650, PLUS HE THINKS THAT THE 800s POWER IS TOO MUCH, OH WELL FOR ME
