Purchased this winch for my tilt trailer to pull non-operational vehicles up onto the trailer. This is a very nice setup. I made a quick release attachment so I could remove it from the trailer when not in use. I also purchased the remote and the battery cable hookup that attaches to my pickup battery. This was a great setup. Thank you

THE sCHUMACHER BATTERY CHARGER IS THE 3rd ONE I PURCHASED AND I REALLY DO LIKE THEM BECAUSE I PUT THEM ON THREE CLASSICS CARS I HAVE.I SOME TIMES DO NOT START THEM FOR ATE LEAST 3 TO 5 MONTHS;BUT WHEN I DO RUN THEM I HAVE NO PROBLEM STARTING THEM UP.THESE CHARGERS ARE VERY GOOD AND DEPENDABLE.I WOULS HAVE MORE IF I NEEDED THEM.
I have a 1980 MGB Sports Car that is not driven in the winter. And it is only driven when it is top down weather. It’s my toy. This trickle charger was easy to mount near the battery and has worked fine. Have rigged a permanent extension cord (heavy duty for weather protection of thick covering insulation) to just plug charger in when I leave car.
i’ve used this product to keep the battery in the car charged while sitting idol for a period of time. This is just perfect and came in as promised.
I was looking for a small onboard battery charger to trickle charge a small car, King Midget, that doesn’t get driven enough to keep the battery completely charged. So far it’s worked as advertised. It’s small and light weight so I was able to attach it to the outside of the plastic case holding the battery. Unlike other reviews, I didn’t mind the 6 inch AC cord as I didn’t have to worry about a longer cord becoming undone and wrapping around the chain drive.
We purchased this to install in our car trailer. It effortlessly pulls our 71 El Camino race car in the trailer. The El Camino weighs about 3800 pounds and it pulls it very well.
This winch rocks. I bought it to use on a flat deck car trailer for a race car. It has plenty of power and the best thing is the 30′ long wired remote. The Warn 3700 winch I almost bought instead had a much shorter remote control cable. With the Superwinch’s 30′ remote control, I can stand next to the car and steer it while winching it onto the trailer rather than having to put down the remote and walk back to the car and adjust the steering wheel and then walk back to use the remote.
I purchased this winch to install in my car hauler. It was very reasonably priced, shipped quickly, and simple to install. I have used it on different occasions and it works great.
After I first installed the winch it didn’t operate under load. The trouble shooting guide pointed me to look for loose connections. After I checked all the connections I had made the unit still did not work. I then removed the cover and found that NONE of the internal connections had been tightened. After I tightened the connections the unit has operated without problem.
This winch is awesome. Pulls my race car up with no problems. There are cheper units out there but I highly reccomend this unit.
I am very happy with my s5000 superwinch. I used it to drag a old car onto my trailer that hasn’t moved since 1984. Using a snatch block, I dragged the car with 3 flat tires with only the front tires turning. The only problem I had was the cable wanted to roll up on one side. The long control cable made it easy to walk around and do what needed to be done because I loaded it by myself.
