Can you add fuel injector cleaner to a 2 stroke engine if the tank already has 2 stroke oil in it.?
I have a 50cc ATV that kept cutting out after 20 Min’s, i cleaned the carb, the air filter, the tank & changed the plug, but didnt cure the problem. Linhai ATV Parts I think the problem was, the 2 stroke oil in a separate tank (bottle) wasn’t working, as the oil level never dropped. So i added 2 stroke oil to the fuel tank. The ATV doesn’t cut out now but does start to go slower after about 20 Min’s. I think the problem might be the injectors need cleaning. So is it ok to add injector cleaner to the fuel tank with the 2 stroke oil. It is a 50cc Linhai Yamaha 2002 kick start ATV. Any advice would be most welcome as i am no expert.
